Steve Hakala

Steve Hakala (born in New Ipswich, New Hampshire) is a retired American professional ice hockey forward.
He was member of the Tulsa Oilers (CHL) team that suspended operations on February 16, 1984, playing only road games for final six weeks of 1983–84 season. Prior to turning pro, Hakala played NCAA hockey at Merrimack College.〔http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=8997〕
As a professional, Hakala played with the Tulsa Oilers in the CHL for the 1982–83 and 1983–84 seasons. Playing in 109 regular season games, he scored 16 goals and assisted on 21 others for a total of 37 points. He also compiled 36 minutes in penalties. In the 1983–84 CHL playoffs Hakala played in five games, scoring an assist to help his team win the CHL Championship and the Adams Cup.〔http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0000971984.html〕
